Throughout my time at Bournemouth School I have tried to be as involved as possible in the school and so I have got involved in many clubs and activities. I have taken opportunities to go on school trips to Italy, Belgium and Colorado and I have been on two army camps to Cumbria with the school cadet force. For me music is a major interest, and so I play in the school Big Band and Choir as well as other student led bands. Elgar House has been a great home for me in my time at this school, my favourite house competition certainly being House Music, where students in all houses form bands which compete against each other. I have also enjoyed participating in House Rugby and House Quiz. I would encourage anyone who comes to Bournemouth School to get involved with the school and their house as much as possible to get the best out of their time; the more you put in, the more you get out! In the future I want to study Chemistry at university with the aim of becoming a research chemist or a lecturer. I feel that my time at Bournemouth School has prepared me well for this, both academically and by providing careers advisors and UCAS talks.
