Year 12 Geography Fieldwork

Just days into their sixth form journey, Year 12 geography students have already been out on their first field trip – an exciting start that showcases the hands-on approach of the course. On Friday, 12 September, students visited Boscombe as part of BCP Council’s Better Boscombe project, where they saw a live demonstration of precision-controlled demolition and discovered how regeneration projects are planned, funded and delivered.

The visit not only supports their future studies of the Regenerating Places topic but also introduced students to a range of career and apprenticeship opportunities in construction, demolition and local government.
