Pathways in Progress

The second session in our Pathways in Progress lecture series was a great success, with Year 13 student Gabriel delivering an inspiring and highly informative presentation to Year 12 students interested in pursuing medicine at university.

Gabriel shared his experience of the medical school application process, offering honest insight into the challenges and rewards of preparing for such a competitive field. He talked through worked examples from the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), providing practical guidance on tackling questions effectively and managing time under pressure.

This session gave Year 12 students an invaluable opportunity to learn directly from a peer currently navigating the process, helping to demystify medical applications and inspire confidence for their own future plans.
