Bank of England Guest Speaker

Year 12 and 13 students were privileged to welcome a guest speaker from the Bank of England for a special economic briefing. The visit coincided with the announcement of the national budget, giving students a rare opportunity to discuss economic policy on one of the most important days in the financial calendar.

Andy Richards delivered an engaging talk on the role of the Bank of England, current economic challenges, and the impact of the new budget measures. Students asked thoughtful, well-informed questions and were enthusiastic about gaining insights that complemented their studies.

This unique experience offered our Sixth Formers a valuable glimpse into the world of economic decision-making and provided inspiration for those considering careers in finance, economics, or public policy.
