Students Explore Health Professions

Sixth form students recently attended a series of workshops delivered by staff from the Health Sciences University. The event aimed to introduce students to the wide range of allied health professions (AHPs) and to develop their understanding of the diverse career pathways within the sector. Through engaging presentations and hands-on, experiential activities, students explored AHP roles in a practical and interactive way, gaining valuable insight into the skills, knowledge, and attributes required. The workshops supported students in making informed decisions about future study and career options.  The feedback from students was very positive and we are very grateful to HSU for providing such an engaging afternoon. Careers events form an integral part of the sixth form provision, providing students with the opportunity to develop their vision for their post-18 destination.
