Youth Speaks Event Success

Three of our Year 12 students, Lena, Chelsea, and Anastasia, took part in the Rotary Club’s Youth Speaks senior competition on 3 February, a public speaking competition for local schools. Tasked with delivering a 15‑minute speech on a topic of their choice, they explored the question, “Is justice more important than peace?”

The students prepared and rehearsed thoroughly prior to the event, and spoke with eloquence, conviction and confidence to an audience gathered in the main hall at BSG. Their strong arguments and confident delivery earned them second place. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and congratulate all three speakers on a remarkable performance.
