Three children, two boys and a girl.

Very varied business career ending as Asia Pacific Region Head for Syngenta.

Spent 4 years in India, two in China and 5 years in Hong Kong.

Married twice. Now retired with my lovely second wife Sally. Living in Portugal playing a lot of golf.

What was best about Donald's time at Bournemouth School?

Enjoyed the sports and the House competitions.
Had good friends mainly within sports teams
High academic standards.

Who does Donald remember most fondly?

Teachers Paddy Roberts, and Brown, Williams, (physics), Truss ? (applied Maths).
The famous or infamous E. G. Bennett, headmaster. J. J.Dodds who we all impersonated.
My friends Richard Collins, Charles Cotton, Richard Barraclough, Pete Menzies.

What would Donald change about their time at Bournemouth School?

Not much, I enjoyed my time there.

What is Donald's favourite anecdote/most vivid memory?

Being called into the Headmaster’s office to be congratulated on scoring a hundred against Taunton School and then being questioned on why I hadn’t declared sooner. He may have a had a point as Taunton ended 9 wickets down, match drawn.

Donald's final thoughts

Life is to be lived as we go along, there is only one ultimate destination everything else is only a stepping stone. Enjoy the journey.
