What was best about Tim's time at Bournemouth School?

Many happy memories of my time at Bournemouth School , especially on the Sports field. My father taught at the school and my two nephews also attended the school. Very proud too that three generations of the Farmer family have played cricket at Dean Park. My century there gives me something in common with the all time greats

Who does Tim remember most fondly?

Mr Hawkins, irreplaceable. Mr Spencer, my Latin teacher, inspirational. Mr Lenton, a true gentleman and a gentle man.
Students: Paul, Dave, Cameron etc for their friendship. Much more besides.

What would Tim change about their time at Bournemouth School?

Too short. Should have joined sooner!

What is Tim's favourite anecdote/most vivid memory?

Hair-raising journeys in the old minibus with the wonderful Mr Harvey to play squash at West Hants.

Tim's final thoughts

Grateful to Graham Jones and others for keeping the Old Bournemouthians society going as long as it has been.
