After School I went to University where I studied Psychology and Criminology. I met my fiancé in London just after covid and I am now a father, living between Bournemouth and Bristol.

What was best about James's time at Bournemouth School?

Making lifelong friends through sports and clubs.

Who does James remember most fondly?

All of the teachers, but I found Mr Beardshaw’s and Mr Cook’s classes intriguing and challenging, putting the emphasis on having a critical mind and not accepting everything in the world at face value.

What would James change about their time at Bournemouth School?

I would have loved to have played more sport and avoided learning French.

What is James's favourite anecdote/most vivid memory?

There are too many, but the first day of school in year 7, hearing Mr Gibson shout “tackle there” in a Rugby P.E. class, CCF camps and the last day of school are core memories.
