Married Patricia in June 1977
Qualified as a Solicitor in July 1977
Practised as a Solicitor in Bournemouth until I retired in 2018 having become Senior Partner in my Firm in 1997
My Wife and I have three children and six grandchildren
What was best about Alan's time at Bournemouth School?
The friends I made then some of whom I am still in contact with and the education I had which enabled me to secure my chosen career.
Who does Alan remember most fondly?
Nick McCabe, Mr Hilliam, Mr Lenton, Mr Webb, Mr Rogers.
Students: Peter Boardman, Dave Parish, Roderick Kennedy.
What would Alan change about their time at Bournemouth School?
I would have joined the CCF.
I would have spent more time revising in the Library in the new Sixth Form block rather than revising at home.
What is Alan's favourite anecdote/most vivid memory?
Taking part in the 6th Form Review Comedy which was performed in the school hall over several evenings in the last week of the summer term in front of students and parents.
