Peter's biography:
I am a conductor and Professor of Conducting at the Royal College of Music, where I work closely with young musicians and emerging conductors, helping them develop both artistic confidence and professional skills.
Alongside this, I am Rehearsal Director of the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), supporting some of the finest young players in Europe as they prepare for international careers.
My work combines performance, teaching and mentoring, and I believe strongly in the importance of inspiring the next generation through high standards, encouragement and a love of music. Teaching is at the heart of everything I do, and I feel privileged to share my experience with students at every stage of their musical journey.
