Zane's biography:

I worked in admin at Marks and Spencers then into marketing and web design. Now currently on YouTube, working with businesses around the world, consulting and helping them optimise their businesses on Google Maps.

What was best about Zane's time at Bournemouth School?

I always wondered why it was tricky to play football; it always felt like Rugby took centre stage. I would often draw comic strips and got the opportunity to put this into practice in the Old Bournemouthian school magazine for a few years. I really enjoyed Mr Webb’s Classes in Geography and Mr Preston’s Physics classes

Who does Zane remember most fondly?

I enjoyed the sciences and maths, but really couldn’t get on with Latin and French. My teachers included Mr Jones for year 1; year 3 was in the music room.

What would Zane change about their time at Bournemouth School?

I wish I had worked harder – I know, everyone says it after they leave!

What is Zane's favourite anecdote/most vivid memory?

We won a 6 aside tournament in the summer, I think we were called “Advocadoes don’t wear flares on chairs”, and we had Simon Burrows in goal, along with Paul Bedford and Richard Barnard. We knocked out some 6th formers, all good FA cup giant killing fun at the time!
