Bournemouth School Ski Trip 2026

During the first week of the Easter holidays, Bournemouth School took a group of 38 students and five members of staff to La Thuile in the Aosta Valley in Italy as part of their school ski trip.

The group were incredibly lucky to experience great quality snow, ideal for skiing; with snow on their first day and then clear skies for the rest of their week.

The feedback from ski instructors and members of the public was superb; with compliments made on the students’ overall conduct and progress. There were both red and black runs being attempted by the end of the week and it was clear that the trip had made confident skiers out of everyone (even the staff!)

It wasn’t just the skiing that made the trip so enjoyable. Each evening, the students were provided a three-course Italian meal, often followed by fun activities such as Quiz Night and Sports Evening.

A big thank you to Mr Pardy, Mr Perch, Mr Knight, Mrs Holcroft for accompanying our students on the trip and an extra thanks to Mr Nicols for organising.

Overall, the Bournemouth School Ski Trip 2026 was a resounding success, and the school is looking forward to next year’s trip already!
