Alumnus Alex Keen Personal Statement Talk

On, Wednesday 8 July, Bournemouth School was delighted to welcome back alumnus, Alex Keen,ย to talk about his journeyย since leaving Bournemouth School.ย Year 12 enjoyed a talkย offering some key points on writing personal statements, something that is of relevance to our students who will be working on their own personal statements over the coming months.

Alex spoke of his life experiences at university including sharing his experience as the sabbatical Education Officer at Birmingham University, where he supported students in developing their personal statements up until his present position as a Parliamentary Assistant in the office of MP Ruth Cadbury, where he is the lead for his office on work experience and has developed a project to support local sixth formers who want to study politics at university.

ย Alex was articulate in his presentation and produced a professional, fruitful workshop.

Bournemouth School is extremely grateful to Alex for giving up his time to support our students and their future careers.
